About Me
Why I want to be a Peri-Menopause & Menopause Coach
Peri-Menopause & Hormone Coach
I witness so much confusion and misinformation surrounding our health. Our food systems, water, environment and even our time have been hijacked in many ways, and our routines often revolve around a constant cycle of eating, working, sleeping and repeating.
The essentials for wellness can start to feel elusive — maintaining a healthy lifestyle, planning nourishing meals, finding time to move our bodies, and creating space to rest. These things should ideally fit naturally into our daily lives, yet for many of us they now require intentional effort and understanding.
In our current world, feeling tired, stressed and out of balance has become normalised. We are often told this is simply part of getting older, especially as we move into peri-menopause and menopause. Personally, I don’t believe it has to be that way.
With the right knowledge and support, we can approach menopause laughing, feeling strong and ready for it — but that preparation begins in the years leading up to it.
My passion lies in helping women understand their bodies, their hormones and their cycles — and how everything works together. Nutrition, blood sugar balance, stress hormones, sleep, movement, digestion and lifestyle all play a role in how we feel.
Like many women, I have experimented with countless fad diets and new fitness trends over the years, only to find that many of them left me feeling worse rather than better. I also began to notice symptoms that many women experience but rarely connect together: bloating, digestive upset, inflammation, disrupted sleep, fluctuating energy, brain fog and changes in mood or appetite.
As I move into peri-menopause myself, I have become even more focused on understanding my hormones, my cycle, my nutrition and my exercise patterns. Sometimes exercise can be too intense at the wrong time. Sleep can become erratic. Stress can feel amplified.
Have you ever felt like your emotions are harder to control, your eating patterns shift, brain fog appears, sleep becomes poor, or forgetfulness creeps in — and you find yourself asking why?
Often these experiences are connected to shifts in hormone balance, blood sugar regulation and the body’s stress response.
Supporting hormone wellness means looking at the whole picture. It includes understanding how hormones are produced and balanced, supporting sex hormones during peri-menopause and menopause, stabilising blood sugar levels, nourishing the body with proper nutrition, improving digestive health, moving regularly (preferably in nature), prioritising quality sleep, managing stress hormones and reducing exposure to hormone-disrupting chemicals such as xenoestrogens.
Rather than trying to change everything at once, this work is broken down into manageable steps. Through coaching conversations we explore the what and the why behind how you are feeling, helping you understand what may be happening in your body and how to support it.
This approach supports long-term health, improves energy and resilience, reduces inflammation, promotes restorative sleep and helps keep hormones and blood sugar levels in balance.
If this resonates with you, and you are ready to start taking steps towards a healthier and more balanced way of living, I would love to support you on that journey
