“Empowering women and men to reach their optimum, regardless of where you are in your journey of life.

Why do women and men, struggle to maintain a healthy weight?

Perhaps it’s because we’re not informed about what our bodies require to achieve their metabolic best.

Do you understand the importance of hormone optimisation, your inner wisdom, your intuition? Do you heed your gut instinct, eat intuitively, and consume the right foods for your mind and body to thrive?

If you’re influenced by mainstream noise and confusion, the answer is likely no.

For years, we’ve been advised that fat is detrimental, red meat is unhealthy, and butter is to be avoided. We’ve been encouraged to consume low-fat foods, which often translate to high sugar, highly processed, and nutritionally deficient options. And now, there’s an even greater assault on the foods essential for our body’s fundamental needs and optimal function – meat farts are killing the planet, they must be gone (FML, we’ve been eating these guys for thousands of years and now they are a threat to the existence of humans….. I think without them we would all be dead by now so pull the other one will you – think back to caveman times we eat meat, always have, always will, berries and vegetation staved off hunger and dying before the next big animal was brought down by the tribe and feasted on till their bellies popped, we have ALWAYS and will ALWAYS need to be meat eaters). Apologies to vegans/vegetarians, but I don’t advocate for your health choices. I firmly believe that excluding animal proteins/fats is not conducive to good health. This is my opinion, supported by my experience, which I’ll share through my blogs. I’ve explored this path and it adversely affected me, so please spare me the ‘don’t knock it till you try it’ stance – I have tried it, and it had detrimental effects. Perhaps not immediately noticeable, but over the years, this diet can severely impact your well-being, particularly if, as a child, you have primarily not consumed any animal protein. This is especially critical for the development and hormonal balance of young girls and women.

Every part of our body requires animal fat and protein. These elements are necessary to absorb vitamins and minerals, promote good brain and gut health, optimise metabolism, maintain a healthy weight, combat brain fog, balance energy levels, manage stress, and even prevent illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimer’s. (I understand these are bold claims, but I can provide evidence and studies from remarkable individuals who have reached similar conclusions through substantial research.)

We, as humans eat way too much too often, that is a fact. Our bodies need time out from consuming food to allow it to kick in to other energy systems. We use sugar and fat as energy but consuming too much sugar/carbs will hamper our ability to burn fat and leave it sitting around our bellies which we do not want. Fat does not make you fat, over consumption does and too much sugar…. Fact!

Eating three meals a day is not set in stone, finish everything on your plate is not a good mantra to push, eating over a 12 hour window is too much, we need to bring that in to an 8-10 hour window…….. so many things that can be changed to help you get in better shape. For women fasting needs to be monitored as at different points in the month you need different macronutrients but all this can be understood easily if you know yourself.

So, do you know where the the line “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” was invented…… in the 19th century by Seventh Day Adventists James Caleb Jackson and John Harvey Kellogg…….. Why? To sell you their shitty breakfast cereals which are full of sugar and have absolutely no reason to be in your body, nor is breakfast the most important meal of the day, utter bull. Everything we think we know our bodies need has been sold to us by fat cats wanting to get richer, they don’t care about you or your wellbeing. It is all a marketing ploy, which you will find most things we think we know about food have come from, total lies to sell shit you do not need and that will make you sick.

Join me in the coming months as I share copious amounts of information on how to keep you and your family in good health. It’s crucial to eat a healthy/varied diet, whether you’re a man, woman, boy or girl.

It’s time we reclaim our power and comprehend what’s necessary to stay fit, well, and disease-free, leading long and healthy lives independent of the pharmaceutical industry’s profit-driven healthcare system. (Certainly, there are numerous of incredible individuals within the healthcare system who genuinely prioritise your health and well-being. However, many well-informed professionals have chosen to establish independent practices outside the regulatory bodies.)

Regrettably, healthcare has become driven by protocols, lacking personal care and often centered around medication. People maintaining a healthy diet, staying active, managing stress, and sleeping well aren’t profitable for healthcare; you cannot make money from healthy individuals.

So, if you’re feeling depleted, run-down, or struggling to reclaim your health, I can equip you with the tools to combat these challenges. But remember, YOU need to change the destructive patterns. Eliminate unhealthy foods, get moving, and start embracing self-care. As Albert Einstein famously said:

‘The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.'”
