Hi everyone, let me tell you why I do what I do

“Why am I a Menopause Wellness Coach?

I witness the confusion and misinformation surrounding our health. Our food/water/time has been hijacked, and our routines often revolve around a cycle of eating, working, sleeping, and repeating.

The essentials for wellness seem elusive—maintaining a healthy lifestyle, planning nutritious meals, and allocating time for physical activity. These should ideally integrate seamlessly into our daily lives, but for many of us, maintaining health requires intentional effort.

In our current world, feeling tired, stressed, out of balance is normalised, it is a part of getting older apparently, but I do not think it is. We can go in to our menopause laughing and ready for it, if we take good care of ourselves running up to it.

My passion lies in assisting women to understand their bodies, their cycle, understand how everything fits together and how you have the power to make yourself feel amazing. I’ve experimented with countless fad diets and new fitness trends, yet each time, I emerged worse off.

To enable menopause wellness, key elements must align: 

Hormone balance and understanding how they work/when they come in/what they do/how they are produced, embracing proper nutrition and managing blood sugar levels, regular movement in nature, quality sleep, effective stress management, and minimising chemical exposure which are hormone disrupters (xenoestrogens).

I am hitting peri-menopause and I am now really starting to home in on my hormones, my cycle, my nutrition, my exercise (this can be too much and at the wrong time), my sleep (that can be erratic), my stress (god help those around me sometimes) to help me stay sane. Do you ever feel like you cannot control your emotions, your eating, you have brain fog, crap sleep, forgetfulness….. and your like WHY?!?!?! 

Well hopefully together we can find the answer and empower you to know what to do and where to go to ask for help.

This approach helps maintain good health, prevents illness, promotes fitness and activity, ensures rejuvenating sleep, and equips us to manage life’s stressors and keep those hormones in balance.
